Reverend Christine Tanier

Proprietress of Celebrations Wedding Chapel since 2011 and a wedding professional and industry leader for nearly 20 years, Reverend Christine has had the privilege of officiating over 500 weddings since 2004. As an ordained minister affiliated with Universal Life Church, she has happily married couples across Michigan and Colorado.

With a diverse background working with individuals in various roles—from hair stylist to bartender to antiques dealer—she possesses a deep understanding of people. She enjoys assisting and supporting them throughout the joyous yet sometimes stressful wedding journey. It truly is the best job in the world, and she is thankful to play a role in the most romantic day of a couple's life.

She was inducted into the Marquis’ Who’s Who in the Wedding Industry in 2021 and has a 5-STAR rating with Wedding Wire, receiving the Wedding Wire 'Couples' Choice' Award for the past 15 years.

OFFICIAL CHURCH CAT

Boog keeps a close eye on all goings on around The Old Church and likes to invite himself to many of the celebrations and events we hold here. Boog is very friendly, but PLEASE DO NOT LET HIM OUTSIDE no matter how persuasive he seems. He can be removed from the chapel during your event if he is a bother.
